Do I need to download and install any software?

No. WinPure Email Verifier Pro is an online service. Just log-in and go for it!

Will my IP get blocked?

No. Our servers do all the work. Your IP is totally safe.

How are email addresses checked?

We check each and every email at 3 levels:

  1. Syntax – Is the address in the right format? (e.g. sample@anywebsitedomain.com)
  2. MX – Does a mail server exist for a domain?
  3. Mailbox – Our server talks to remote mail server and asks “Does this mail box exist?”
How secure is my data?

Very. We take your security and confidentiality seriously. We know that your email lists are confidential and we do everything we can to make sure that they stay that way!

How does your pricing compare with other competitors?

There are surprisingly few companies in the world that can offer email verification in volume and with a high degree of coverage. We are one of the select few and compared with other quality providers our pricing is highly competitive. And we really mean that. Try getting the same coverage of Hotmail and Yahoo for less – you won’t!

How does the ad hoc ‘pay as you go’ pricing work?

For the ‘pay as you go’ service, we charge based on the amount of unique emails in the lists presented for payment at that time. You can upload multiple lists into a batch for a single payment. We do not sell credits, so once a batch is submitted and paid for then you would have to pay again for another subsequent batch.

Can you check the most common domains e.g. Hotmail, Yahoo etc?

Yes, our API can verify most common consumer ISPs such as Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, Gmail, Comcast etc.
Our coverage of Yahoo is far more accurate than anything our competitors can achieve.

We also cover many international domains such as Yandex, Orange, Voila etc.

How do I download results?

To download results:-
1. Click on the Your Lists tab
2. Select Download Results from the action dropdown menu.
3. You will see a summary of the list results, sorted by OK, BAD and UNKNOWN.
4. Click on the links under the OK, BAD, or UNKNOWN totals boxes to download those results.

In what format are results returned?

Results are returned as .CSV or .TXT files, with the same file name as the uploaded file.
The results are appended in new columns to the right hand side of your existing data columns.

Can you validate Hotmail and Yahoo in batches?

Yes, we can verify these domains in our batch service. However, some of the major consumer ISPs such as Hotmail and Yahoo are quite sensitive to large numbers of verification requests, therefore we cannot guarantee 100% coverage with these domains in our batch services. For best results on these domains, we recommend our API service..

How quickly are lists processed?

On average a list containing up to 50,000 emails will take approximately 8 hours to complete. At weekends, it may take over 24 hours to process a list.

Can I upload a file containing multiple data fields, i.e. not just an email address?

Yes, you can upload a file containing multiple columns of data. Our system will pick out the email address field automatically and preserve the rest of your data.

Can I upload a file of emails all at the same domain e.g. @hotmail.com

Whilst this is possible, it is likely to result in a higher proportion of “Unknowns”. We recommend that files should not contain more than 49% of any single domain.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Amex or PayPal. In some cases we can accept payment by bank transfer – please contact our sales team if you wish to discuss this option.

Can I upgrade my subscription service?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time but please note we cannot deduct any pro-rata amounts for unused days on your existing subscription. We advise that you take out the correct subscription from the outset.

Can I cancel a subscription service?

Yes, cancellation is an easy process. Just contact us via the support link in your account. Please note that subscription accounts are for a minimum period of 2 months.

What are typical response times?

Typical queries are answered between 0.2 to 2.5 seconds.
We have multiple strategic data centers in North America, Europe and Asia, with caching and cloud based auto-scaling to deliver outstanding performance.

Do you have a jQuery version?

Yes, we do. Our jQuery version is recommended for use in web forms to improve the user experience. Please refer to the documentation for jQuery (ACL) version.

Do I get a dashboard to view API stats?

Yes, we provide you with a login area to view stats on usage, plus charts showing the breakdown of your usage by status (valid, invalid etc.) and additional status values.

Do you have error correction handling?

Yes, we have an optional “correct” parameter which allows you to correct syntax errors entered by the user.
We also have a “suggest” feature if we see a suspected user typo, e.g.if fred@hotmail.cm was entered, we would suggest fred@hotmail.com as an alternative.

What format are responses returned as?

Responses are returned as JSON.

How secure is my data?

We take security very seriously.
Email addresses are not stored other than in temporary cache for 14 days to improve performance.
